• Digital Content Producer - Based in London, UK

     John Brown is seeking to appoint a content producer within its Digital department. The position is based in London, and reports to the senior digital project manager.

    Key responsibilities

    John Brown is looking for a content producer to work primarily across the digital platforms for a well-known fashion brand.

    The content producer will have strong project management and creative problem-solving experience, as well as a good understanding of web, social media and mobile device trends. They will have experience working with Umbraco 7 CMS and a good understanding of HTML, in order to build responsive web pages. The digital producer will also need to be creatively literate, with the ability to use editing tools such as Photoshop.

    The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail and a passion for digital and content creation in the digital space, and must be a good team player. Experience within fashion would be an advantage, as would experience managing multiple deadlines and transcreation.

    Minimum requirements

    • Significant relevant experience working in a digital creative agency
    • Strong CMS experience
    • Proven experience using Adobe Photoshop


    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Familiarity with a broad range of social platforms
    • English language skills
    •  Enthusiasm for learning and for development of skills
    •  Good communication skills
    •  Organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
    •  Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

    Essential criteria

    • Umbraco 7 CMS experience
    • Good HTML knowledge
    • Asset preparation
    • Ability to scope projects in accordance with client requirements
    • Co-ordination between editors and design and development teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery, within agreed budgets and specifications
    • Management of project timelines
    • Work with account management to develop client relationships
    • Ability to handle multiple streams of work


    • HTML and CSS
    • Knowledge of different digital platforms – web, mobile and video desirable
